Terms and Conditions of Service

Welcome to Ogun Shine. By accessing our website, engaging our services, or interacting with our mobile applications (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"), all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site and our services.

1. Service Agreement and Scope of Work

Ogun Shine agrees to provide professional cleaning services as detailed in the agreed-upon Service Estimate or Contract (the "Scope of Work"). Any modification to the Scope of Work must be documented and agreed upon by both parties prior to the service delivery. We reserve the right to refuse service if safety protocols are deemed compromised or if the premises fall outside the reasonable parameters of the agreed contract.

1.1 Scheduling and Access

The client must ensure access to the premises at the scheduled time. If access is denied or delayed by more than 30 minutes due to client fault, a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the service charge may apply. We operate within the specified hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM unless otherwise agreed in writing.

1.2 Estimates and Pricing

All price estimates provided are based on average job length and standard levels of cleanliness. Should the premises require significantly more time or specialized attention than originally estimated (e.g., hoarding, extreme biohazards, excessive damage), Ogun Shine reserves the right to adjust the final price after immediate consultation with the client.

2. Payment Terms

Unless explicitly agreed otherwise in a commercial contract, payment for residential services is due immediately upon completion of the service. We accept various forms of payment, including bank transfer and cash. Commercial clients are generally subject to Net 30 payment terms from the invoice date.

2.1 Late Payments

Invoices remaining unpaid after the due date will incur a late payment fee of 2% per month, or the maximum amount permissible by law, whichever is less, calculated from the original due date.

3. Client Responsibilities

• The client must secure all fragile, valuable, or sentimental items and secure any firearms, potentially dangerous chemicals, or prescribed medications prior to the service team's arrival.
• The client agrees to notify Ogun Shine immediately of any pre-existing damages to the property before commencement of cleaning.
• The client must ensure a safe working environment, including providing hot water and electricity necessary for the cleaning equipment.

4. Guarantee and Claims

Ogun Shine aims for 100% customer satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of the cleaning service, you must notify us within 24 hours of completion. We will return to re-clean the area in question free of charge. This guarantee does not apply to re-cleaning requested due to factors outside of the original Scope of Work.

4.1 Damage and Insurance

While our staff are trained professionals, accidents can occasionally occur. Ogun Shine is fully insured against accidental damage. All claims must be reported within 48 hours of service completion and must include photographic evidence. Liability will be limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the damaged item.

5. Limitation of Liability

Ogun Shine shall not be liable for any loss, damage, expense, or delay, nor for any loss of income or profit, suffered by the Client, arising directly or indirectly out of any failure by Ogun Shine to perform its obligations under these Terms, except to the extent that such liability cannot be limited by law.

6. Intellectual Property

The content, organization, graphics, design, compilation, magnetic translation, digital conversion, and other matters related to the Service and our website are protected under applicable copyrights, trademarks, and other proprietary rights.

7. Amendments to Terms

Ogun Shine reserves the right to revise these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. By using this Service after any such revisions, you agree to abide by the current version of these Terms and Conditions. The current version will always be posted on this page.
